Lunar eclipse
A lunar eclipse comes when the Sun's light stands in front of the Moon and earth, creating a colorful image in the sky. A lunar eclipse occurs when earth gets in the way of the sun and moon at the same time when the sun is shining. In order for the moon to pass through the sun's shadow, it must be during the Full Moon phase. The places that have witnessed the lunar eclipse are New Zealand, Australia, Russia, South America, Asia and Japan. The lunar eclipse depends on which way and time the moon is moving. At the start of the lunar eclipse the moon looks like a normal full moon then it seems to get a bit darker. After a few minutes, the whole process reverses and the Moon gets lighter and lighter until it finally goes back to being a normal Full Moon. The change is so small that you can just barely see it happening. during a lunar eclipse you will occasionally get to see the Moon actually change colors.
