The finger eater is a novel book by Dick-King-Smith and it is about this monster that is called Ulf. Other people around the village are scared of him because their middle fingers were bitten off by Ulf. He also has very sharp teeth so when he goes up to someone he just bites their finger off. Ulf’s trick is, when nobody heard of him he goes to people pretending to shake hand but then he eats their finger and goes back to his hole where he lives.

My favourite character is Ulf because I like monsters

and he is small like me and he has sharp teeth, the only thing I don’t like about him is the color of his skin.

I recommend this book 6-8 because because it is a junior novel and some kids at a younger age can be scared.

Charlie and the chocolate factory

The book Charlie and the Chocolate factory was written by Roald Dahl. This book is about a kid named Charlie Bucket who has a very poor family, but is very kind. Willy Wonka the most amazing inventor in the world has created a chocolate factory, how does Charlie know this because every night he goes to his grandpa Joe, grandma Josephine, grandpa George and grandma Georgina tell him stories also grandpa Joe the oldest one had been telling Charlie the most stories.

My favourite part is when Charlie goes to a candy store and gets a chocolate bar and when he gets it he finds a golden ticket (golden tickets were hid around the city) also according to the book Willy Wonka had hid golden tickets around the city. He said if you get one you can come to the chocolate factory and only a few were hidden.

I recommend this book 7-10 because it is a chapter book and there are hard words in the book.
